  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Green onions and sesame seeds (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

  • Marinate shrimp in half of the sauce for 10-15 minutes (optional).

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Add shrimp and cook for 1 minute on each side.

  • Pour in the remaining sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp—remove from heat as soon as they turn pink and opaque. You can use frozen shrimp; just thaw before cooking.
