Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Set up a dredging station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.
  • Coat each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs. Press gently to adhere.
  • Place chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat honey, hot sauce, and butter over low heat until melted and combined.
  • Brush the hot honey glaze over the baked chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, lightly toast the panko breadcrumbs before coating the chicken.
  • Adjust the hot sauce and honey ratio to make the glaze spicier or sweeter based on preference.
