This beef stir fry with noodles and sticky sauce is a delicious, easy-to-make dish packed with tender beef, fresh veggies, and a rich, flavorful sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) egg noodles
  • 1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

 

  • Sesame seeds & fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a hot pan or wok, heat 1 tbsp oil and sear the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add remaining oil, then sauté garlic, ginger, and vegetables until tender.
  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry.
  • Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well until thickened.
  • Add the cooked noodles, toss everything together, and cook for 2 minutes.

 

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Swap beef for chicken or tofu for a different twist.
  • Adjust spice level by adding more red pepper flakes or chili sauce.

 

  • Use any vegetables you have on hand for variety.
