Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Onion, diced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Pasta (elbow macaroni or penne)
  • Tomato sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Mustard (optional, for a burger flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, mustard (optional), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Combine the beef mixture with the cooked pasta and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving.
