Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 medium flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add taco seasoning to the beef, following the packet instructions. Set aside.
  • In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Place a tortilla in the skillet.
  • Sprinkle a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on half of the tortilla.
  • Add a layer of the seasoned ground beef over the cheese.
  • Fold the tortilla in half and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  • Slice into wedges and serve with your favorite toppings!

Notes

  • You can customize the filling with veggies like bell peppers or onions for added flavor.
  • For extra crunch, cook on medium heat to allow the tortilla to crisp up without burning.
