  • 3-4 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • -2 cups frozen or fresh vegetables (carrots, peas, green beans)
  • 1½ cups Bisquick or self-rising flour
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2-3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk or cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Layer shredded chicken and vegetables in a greased casserole dish.
  • Pour melted butter over the mixture.
  • In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, and seasonings. Pour over chicken.
  • Mix chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, then pour on top of the casserole.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until dumplings are golden and cooked through.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
