This Crispy Chicken with Creamy Pasta recipe combines golden, crunchy chicken with a luscious, flavorful pasta sauce. A satisfying and easy meal!

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Creamy Pasta:

  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ cup pasta water (as needed)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:

    • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.

    • In a bowl, whisk the egg and milk.

    • In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    • Dip chicken into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.

  • Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.

  • Make the Creamy Sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

    • Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

    • Mix in cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

 

  • Serve:

    • Slice crispy chicken and place over creamy pasta.

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.

Notes

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.

  • Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.

 

  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
