  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or ziti)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pizza or marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef (or sausage) with onions and bell peppers in a skillet. Drain excess grease.
  • Spray the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Layer half of the cooked pasta at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Add half of the meat mixture, followed by a layer of pizza sauce, cheeses, and pepperoni.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
