  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • In another small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned.
  • Pour in the teriyaki sauce mixture and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes
