  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) Sloppy Joe sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and bell pepper to the skillet, cook until softened.
  • Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce, diced tomatoes, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  • Cut biscuit dough into quarters and arrange on top of the cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
