  • 12 oz (340 g) spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 10 oz (280 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, then add mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
