Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ziti pasta
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage with garlic until browned. Drain excess grease and stir in marinara sauce.
In a large bowl, mix ricotta, sour cream, cream cheese, half the Parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
Layer the dish: spread half the pasta, then half the cheese mixture, then half the meat sauce. Repeat layers and top with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.
Notes
