Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 small tomato, diced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle the chicken with olive oil, then grill for 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Alternatively, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  • In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush BBQ sauce over each chicken breast.
  • Top with crumbled bacon and shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Close the grill lid (or cover with foil in the oven) and cook until the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with diced tomatoes and green onions.
  • Serve hot with your favorite side dish.

Notes

  • Use smoked or peppered bacon for added flavor.
  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños as a topping.
  • Pairs well with roasted potatoes, a side salad, or grilled vegetables.
