  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 small flour tortillas, cut into strips
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, green chilies, taco seasoning, and salsa.
  • In a greased 9x13 baking dish, layer half of the tortilla strips.
  • Spread half of the chicken mixture over the tortillas.
  • Sprinkle with half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
  • Repeat layers with remaining tortilla strips, chicken mixture, and cheese.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving, if desired.
