This sausage and sweet potatoes recipe with honey garlic sauce is a perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors. Juicy sausage and tender sweet potatoes are coated in a rich honey garlic glaze for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage (sliced)
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

 

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss sweet potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread on the baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes.
  • In a pan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
  • Remove sweet potatoes from the oven, add sausage, and drizzle with the honey garlic sauce. Toss to coat.
  • Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes until caramelized.

 

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

  • Use smoked or spicy sausage for added flavor.
  • Swap honey with maple syrup for a different sweetness.
