  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup dry white wine

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

  • Cooked pasta or crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute.

  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side).

  • Pour in white wine and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Stir in remaining butter and parsley.

 

  • Serve hot over pasta or with bread.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Add a splash of pasta water to the sauce if needed. Pairs well with linguine or angel hair pasta.
