  • 24 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 10.5 oz peeled and deveined shrimp, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: fresh chopped parsley and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the shredded Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Toss the cooked tortellini in the Alfredo sauce until well coated.
