  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers (plus juice)
  • 4-6 sandwich rolls
  • Sliced provolone cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle Italian seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Pour in beef broth and 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice.
  4. Add sliced pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Shred the beef with two forks and mix it into the juices.
  7. Toast sandwich rolls, add shredded beef, and top with provolone cheese if desired.
